Pleasant at your hotel and Start tour by private car(s) within the high Atlas Mountain pass of Tizi n Tichka, this amazing national road offers all of us breathtaking views in all directions. Our first vacation spot is the valley of Telouet where we offer our services to a tiny development project in this impoverished mountain region. We all? ll also have a look at the remains of any former Kasbah (fortress) that handled the caravan trade routes for many years.
We then take on towards the Sahara desert to Ait Benhaddou (famous for Hollywood movies such as Gladiator, The Mummy, Kingdom of Bliss and Lawrence of Persia. Spend your nighttime here in a comfortable tourist class hotel that has a tiny pool and a great terrace missing the Hamada (stone left of the Sahara). Maybe we have involved in some local drumming this evening with our website hosts! Travel time approximately 4 hours total. Breakfast and dinner included.
Today after exploring the famous Kasbah and film locations of Ait Benhaddou, we trigger for Todra Encolure – a vast encolure of the Atlas Foothills. Before Todra, we almost all have an end at Skoura in the Pit of a Thousand Kasbahs for a light travel through the date hands oasis to observe the strange sand castle-like homes. Soon after we reach our hotel in the canyon and spend some time exploring on feet and if time lets, we can rock get with your guides and get involved in some creative challenges and game titles. Today we head for the great dunes of Erg Chebbi – The other agents are most reallocation. Before leaving, however, we take part in some adventure challenges in the canyon and a brief trek through an amazing oasis plantation, perhaps going to a Berber home for mint tea. Carrying on to the dunes, we arrive late afternoon to find our camels holding out for taking us (2 several hours approximately) to a unique Nomadic style desert camp where we sleep in comfortable tents under the stars. Time permitting we can explore the high dunes and climb, hop, roll, etc. to the heart? s content! Today we enjoy Sahara Berber drumming and perhaps a fire to keep all of us warm – unless you prefer to dance! This kind of experience is a spotlight of any trip to Sahara. Just before sunrise, you will be woken up to climb up the sand dunes for fantastic image opportunities. All of us will then make our way back to the hotel for showers and breakfast before setting off for Fez. En way we will go through Arfoud, the Zizpalm Valley, Meditlt, the cedar forests and macaque monkeys of Azrou, and Ifrane, before we drop you in your riad/hotel in Fez.
